Itel P33 Plus Price In Nigeria And Full Review
As I said, the itel P33 Plus is priced at around ₦43,000, although it could be slightly higher depending on your location and the deal you make.
Design And Display
Design-wise, the itel P33 Plus isn’t one to boast of –it kept it simple with a plastic covering, as you would expect.
And, for this price point, you can’t complain. But the lustrous effect of the gold and blue colorations makes this device pretty.
The two cameras and fingerprint scanner are nicely fitted at the top left cornerback of the phone, with an LED flash at the right.
The thick bezels (18:9 aspect ratio) won’t hamper your full-view mode since the mammoth 6-inch HD+ IPS screen is enough to keep you entertained.
Battery And Camera
The camera is probably the weakest point and doesn’t favor content creators.
Of course, the back-facing two shooters are just 8MP with f/2.2 aperture and an assistant 0.8MP shooter with f/2.8 aperture.
Meanwhile, the front camera is 5MP. You will be content if you aren’t a selfie lover.
On the bright side, the humongous 5,000mAh battery is the standout feature –enough to get you through an entire day without a single charge.
Hardware And Software
Hardware and software are where you see the itel p33 plus fall short.
Don’t even bother hoping for a new software update. Embrace the Android Oreo Go Edition wholeheartedly.
The itel p33 plus comes with the MediaTek MT6580 chipset with Quad-core 1.3GHz processor and Mali-400 GPU –wrapped up with a 1GB RAM and 16GB increasable storage.
Frequently Asked Question
Does Itel Has A Mid-Range Phone?
Yes, they do.
It is not until the Itel P40 Plus arrives that we get a sniff of some premium-like features –the cutout hole-punch display, type-c port, and whatnot.
However, itel has taken a limp to mirror recent mid-rangers with their recent S23+.
And it is a beauty!
This mid-ranger is taking the market by storm. Some standout features are a curved display, AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio ~388 PPI Resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, under display, and optical Fingerprint –all of that for just N140,000.
Does Itel Have A Flagship Phone?
I’m afraid they don’t. Maybe later in the future, they will.
But, as of now, their most impressive phone is still itel s23+, which is a mid-ranger.
Surely there is more to expect from itel, considering their latest products have taken us aback.
Are Itel Phones Durable?
Itel produces the cheapest Android phones you can possibly buy in today’s market.
There are preconceived notions that their devices last only a short time.
I’m not the one who made that up. But people will always associate cheap products as mediocre.
You can’t blame anyone because durability DOES NOT come cheap. A good example is the iPhone and Samsung product line.
However, this is a controversial topic, as some people have had it good with itel phones, whereas some haven’t.
Conclusion
As I said, the itel P33 plus is a level-entry phone –for those getting their first Android phone.
It is not worth considering for content creators, heavy gamers, or streamers.
The phone can only handle basic smartphone functions.
But if you want to stick around the itel product line, I recommend the s23+ or just the s23 4G.
These are the best-performing itels you can get.
